With the chord editor you place chords right above the lyrics, on the syllable where the change happens. Song in an awkward key for singing along? Transpose all the chords at once. Learning strumming patterns by ear
Strumming is learned by listening and copying. Add a video of you playing the pattern slowly, or a YouTube tutorial set to a slower playback speed with a loop over two bars. Write the pattern out in a text block next to it (down, down-up, up-down-up) and a metronome block keeps the tempo steady. The student has everything together for practising at home.
Group lessons without loose handouts
The ukulele thrives in groups: at schools, in community classes, with adult beginners. Put students in a group and assign a song to everyone in one go. With Teach Mode you pair a TV, screen or iPad in the room by scanning a QR code, then choose from your own screen what the group sees: the chord sheet for the verse, a diagram for the new chord or a video of the strumming pattern. YouTube stays in sync when you pause, so the whole group can listen to a tricky change together and try it again straight away.
