Legal
Terms and Conditions
Version 1.0 — effective June 1, 2026. The Dutch text is the legally binding version.
These terms are a translation of the Dutch canonical version for convenience. The Dutch text governs in case of any discrepancy.
1. Parties and applicability
These terms apply to the agreement between Musicdott (hereafter: "Musicdott", "we", "us") and the music school or independent teacher subscribing (hereafter: "customer" or "you"). By subscribing you accept these terms.
2. The service
Musicdott is a SaaS platform for music schools and private music teachers. It provides tools for managing students, teachers, lessons, schedules, and delivering real-time lessons (Teach Mode). Musicdott does not process payments between school and student — that remains the customer's responsibility.
3. Beta status
Musicdott is in open beta until November 15, 2026. During this period the service is functional but features may change. Beta pricing is lower than final market pricing; in exchange we ask for feedback and, if you're satisfied, a quote or case study. There is a cap of 25 beta seats.
4. Subscription, pricing and payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Current prices are at musicdott.app/pricing.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Musicdott does not store payment card details.
5. Beta price guarantee
Customers who subscribe during the beta (before November 15, 2026) receive:
- 6 months at beta price — your price won't change during the beta.
- 12-month price lock after that — your price stays locked until November 15, 2027.
- After the lock period you automatically move to the then-current market price.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time via the customer portal or by emailing mail@musicdott.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The first month is free; cancelling before it ends costs nothing.
7. Acceptable use
You may use Musicdott only for lawful purposes. Reselling access, attacking the infrastructure, and using student data for purposes other than music education are prohibited.
8. Intellectual property
Musicdott and its underlying software remain the property of Bèta Development VOF. Content you create (lessons, songs, notes) remains yours; you grant Musicdott a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service.
9. Liability
Musicdott is not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Total liability per incident is capped at the fees you paid in the preceding three months.
10. Privacy and data processing
Musicdott processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. See the privacy statement for details. A data processing agreement is available on request.
11. Changes to these terms
Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Dutch court.
